My prescription drug insurance refused to pay for a refill of my prescription for pen needles because, according to them, I'm using too many. I went to the pharmacy a couple of days before Christmas to get a refill, and I was told "Pharmacare [public prescription drug plan, sort of like Medicare] says it's too soon for you to need a refill."

has anyone else had trouble getting a pump from their doctor? mine told me that i can't have one until i have a few good months of blood sugar records showing better control so that the insurance company will let me have one. i know of one other person who had this 'problem', but i know've someone else who got one w/o having to show any records to ( Read more... )
